The company already had a website built with a proprietary content management system, but the site had become difficult to manage and expand.
Upbeat agreed to provide a new Drupal 7 based content management system for the web team to use. The project included:
- Porting the existing website look-and-feel. A Drupal 7 theme was created that used the existing look and feel, while taking advantage of Drupal best practices to ease future stability and maintainability.
- Adding support for mobile and tablet devices - making the site responsive to cater for the growing numbers of visitors on non-desktop devices.
- Integration with the HubSpot marketing platform, pushing contact form entries automatically into the HubSpot CRM solution for lead management.
- Easy management of product sub-sites, allowing pages on sub-sites to be easily managed, and to improve the process of creating new sub-sites. Content migration from the existing site. Over 650 pages of existing content were migrated into the new site - minimising the effort required from site editors to make the transfer happen.
The Cambridge Consultants site masks intricate complexity to allow viewers to seamlessly navigate through the site in a meaningful way. Despite this complexity, the combination of Upbeat’s project management and technical development skills meant that the new site was built on time and without hitch, much to the delight of the client. Upbeat is now Cambridge Consultant’s digital agency of choice.
